Brussels, 28/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The EU Telecommunications Council, to meet in Brussels next Tuesday 2 May, will mainly hold a policy debate on review of the regulatory package of electronic communications, further to the results of public consultation (see EUROPE of 27 April). Perr Haugaard, the spokesman for Commissioner Liikanen, recalled on Friday the importance of this point for the full application of the Lisbon conclusions.
