Commission feels that there are enough competitor travel agencies in Spain to authorise Amadeus/Telefionica joint venture in on-line ticket booking

Brussels, 28/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - As anticipate yesterday by EUROPE, the European Commission authorised the creation of a joint venture on-line travel agency between the Internet subsidiary of Telefonica TERRA and the computerised reservation system Amadeus, controlled by Iberia, Air France, Lufthansa and Continental Airlines.
