Ferber report proposes EUR 988 million for EP 2001 budget, an increase of 2.37% on 2000 budget

Brussels, 28/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's Budget Committee (COBU) proposes that the 2001 EP budget be EUR 987.8 million. Adopting last week the Ferber report on the budgetary estimates for the EP in 2001, the COBU thus proposes an increase on 2.37% compared to the 2000 budget (964.9 million).
