28/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - During their working lunch on Thursday, the president of the European Commission, Romano Prodi, and Secretary General of the Council/High Representative Javier Solana evoked above all the institutional reform of the EU, and also tackled the issues of enlargement and the role of Europe in the Balkans. Mr Solana and Mr Prodi, who met face to face, hold such informal meetings regularly.
