Brussels, 17/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The meeting between the European Commission and the representatives from the sporting world (presented in EUROPE of 15 April, p.9) enabled three Commissioners to take a stance, i.e.: Mrs. Viviane Reding on the "European vision of Sport" according to the Commission's new ideas and on the "new partnership" she wants to create with the sporting world; Mr. David Byrne on doping as a health problem, Mr. Mario Monti on the enforcement of the competition rules...
