17/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - Anna Diamantopoulou, European Commissioner for Social Affairs, has welcomed the signature of a framework agreement between the Spanish telecommunications company Telefonica and UNI (Union Network International, a member of the ETUC). The agreement covers 120,000 employees in all of the group's sectors worldwide and guarantees respect for international labour and environmental standards.
