French group AUCHAN is to sell its neighbourhood shops to its compatriot CASINO. Thus, SLDC - SOCIETE LYONNAISE DE DEVELOPPEMENT COMMERCIAL (before tax turnover FF 774 million with 1,000 employed), a 100% subsidiary of AUCHAN, will give up 375 of the "Express", "Ecomag", "Economia" and "Ruche Service" shops and 32 of its "Eco-Service" superettes.
