Strasbourg, 17/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - In a resolution approved in its Thursday's emergency debates, the EP, concerned at the "perpetual postponement" of the referendum on the self-determination of the Western Sahara, calls on the parties - Morocco and the Polisario Front - to collaborate with the UN in organising this referendum within the deadlines set and to renew direct dialogue, under the auspices of James Baker, special envoy of the United Nations Secretary General.
