Strasbourg, 17/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - During its Thursday afternoon emergency debates, the EP adopted a resolution by which it expresses its concern for the growing pressure placed on the independent media in Serbia (attack on Studio B, closure of Radio Boom 93 in Pozaverac and TV Pozega, and the ban slapped on Radio Tir and TV Nemanja in Cuprija, on 11 March), and, in the framework of its future CASA programme in favour of South East Europe, calls on the EU to provide for a special...
