17/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the EP decided to postpone to April a debate on the new crisis that risks breaking out between the UN and Iraq, which is not respecting UN Security Council Resolution 1248 obliging it to cooperate with the UN Commission responsible for monitoring the destruction of its weapons of mass destruction. Mr. Buttiglione (Italian, EPP), who tabled the resolution commented: "Let's hope that April won't be too late".
