Vanbraekel case does not provide a formal response to the question of hospitalisation costs in another State, but the Court's position seems clear in the light of previous decisions

Luxembourg, 03/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Court of Justice has held a hearing of the parties to the Vanbraekel case, concerning the reimbursement of hospitalisation costs pursuant to a 1971 European regulation. One of the parties referred to the hearing as "a bit of an anticlimax".
