Brussels, 03/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption of a resolution on participation by women in the decision-making process, the European Parliament felt that the public and private bodies must set themselves the goal of righting the gender balance, a reasonable target being 40% participation (268 votes for, 211 against and 17 abstentions).
