ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) automotive equipment

The French MICHELIN and German WOCO (turnover in 1999 of EUR 380 million employing 2,600 people) will join in a joint venture specialising in anti-vibration systems. Named WOCO MICHELIN AVS and 51% controlled by WOCO it will be made up of the two partners' subsidiaries in this sector (MICHELIN AVS and WOCO AVS). It will employ 1,800 people and should have a turnover of EUR 200 million in 2000.
