ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) agri-foodstuffs

The French group DANONE acquired, for an undisclosed sum, ROBUST (turnover of EUR 175 million in 1998); one of the largest distributors of water and lactic drinks in China. Thanks to this acquisition, DANONE will, this year, exceed the EUR billion in sales made in China.
