ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

Britain's energy group CENTRICA and the Dutch public utilities firm ESSENT have created a 50-50 joint venture in the Netherlands charged with developing the wholesale gas and electricity trade between the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. ACCESS ENERGY is expected to generate turnover of EUR 500 million in its first year.
