Parliament calls for negotiations on association agreement with FYROM to begin immediately

Strasbourg, 18/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption of the report by Austrian Socialist Johannes Swoboda on the Commission recommendation relating to a Council decision aimed at negotiating a stabilisation and association agreement with the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), the Parliament calls for negotiations to begin as soon as possible.
