The French luxury products group LVMH has bought the American firm MIAMI CRUISELINE SERVICES, which describes itself as the world leader in tax-free sales on cruise vessels. The transaction was concluded for a figure close to the American group's turnover, i.e. USD 300 million. MIAMI CRUISELINE SERVICES will be integrated with DFS, LVMH's network of 150 tax-free luxury product shops in airports in the Asia-Pacific region and the United States.
