The American cleaning and hygiene products maker P&G -PROCTER & GAMBLE- has called off talks with a view to the acquisition of the pharmaceutical groups AHP -AMERICAN HOME PRODUCTS- and WARNER-LAMBERT, meant to counter PFIZER's designs on WARNER LAMBERT. See EI of 21 January.
