Bell ruling strengthens protection of workers in case of employer insolvency

Luxembourg, 03/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - In its Bell ruling, the Court of Justice has strengthened the protection of workers in case of their employers' insolvency. It is the guarantee fund of the member country in which a branch is located that has to pay the unpaid credits to workers in case of a company's bankruptcy, it declares.
