EU extends its EUAM Iraq Mission by six months

22/04/2026 (Agence Europe) – The European Union has decided to extend its Advisory Mission in support of Security Sector Reform in Iraq (EUAM Iraq) by six months, until 31 October 2026, according to a legal act published in the Official Journal of the European Union on Wednesday 22 April. The Mission’s mandate was due to end on 30 April 2026.
