Ambassadors of Member States approve setting up of working group responsible for drafting Montenegro’s accession treaty

22/04/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 22 April, the representatives of the EU27 announced that they had approved the setting up of the ad hoc working group responsible for drafting Montenegro’s accession treaty. The country is the most advanced on the road to integration into the European Union, along with Albania (see EUROPE B13831A26).
