MEPs approve agreement with EU Council on method for calculating greenhouse gas emissions

17/03/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 17 March, the European Parliament’s Committees on Transport (TRAN) and Environment (ENVI) approved, by 81 votes to 16, with 4 abstentions, the agreement reached with the EU Council in November on the draft ‘CountEmissionsEU’ regulation (see EUROPE B13747A4).
