NGOs invite President of European Commission to civil society ‘counter-summit’ in Antwerp

11/03/2026 (Agence Europe) – More than 270 organisations - NGOs, trade unions, human rights groups - have invited Ursula von der Leyen to their own “Antwerp Summit” on Wednesday 11 March, scheduled for Tuesday 17 March ahead of the next European Council, according to a press release from the organisers.
