European Commission approves €260 million in Belgian State aid for a carbon capture and storage project

11/03/2026 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission approved, under EU State aid rules, a Belgian measure worth €260 million in favour of Air Liquide Large Industry NV and BASF Antwerpen NV for a Kairos@C carbon capture and storage project on Wednesday 11 March.
