EU countries step up their demining support

11/03/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 11 March, the ambassadors of the Member States to the European Union (Coreper) approved an EU Council decision in support of building African capacities toward a mine-free Africa. When contacted by Agence Europe, the European External Action Service (EEAS) did not respond to our requests for further details on the exact objectives of this support by the time of going to press. (BD)
