Europêche calls for measures to remedy energy crisis affecting sector

On Wednesday 11 March, Europêche called on the European Commission to take steps to remedy the energy crisis threatening European fisheries.

In a letter to Commissioner for Fisheries Costas Kadis, the trade association explains that soaring fuel prices are driving up operating costs, with some boats already operating at a loss.
