04/03/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 4 March, the ambassadors of the Member States to the European Union (Coreper) approved the transposition of restrictive measures at EU level because of the situation in Sudan. On Tuesday 24 February, the UN Security Council Committee adopted new sanctions against four commanders of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). At the end of January, the Council of the European Union decided to sanction seven warlords (see EUROPE B13797A3). (BD)
