Signing of Modernised Global Agreement by EU and Mexico is scheduled for end of May

04/03/2026 (Agence Europe) – In an EU Council document published on Tuesday 3 March, Member States were informed that the signing of theModernised Global Agreement (MGA) between the EU and Mexico is scheduled for the end of May(see EUROPE B13701A3). Before that, the agreement should be approved by the Committee of Permanent Representatives of the Member States to the EU (Coreper) and adopted by the EU Council in mid-May.
