Cyprus Presidency of EU Council formally relaunches work on rules for coordinating social security schemes

As the Cypriot Minister for Labour and Social Protection, Marinos Moushouttas, assured, speaking in Nicosia on 13 February (see EUROPE B13808A2), the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU has indeed resumed work to try to reach an agreement, if possible during a trilogue with the European Parliament in April, on the revision of the rules for coordinating social security schemes, notably under Regulation 883/2004.
