European Commission presents list of 235 cross-border energy projects, including 100 dedicated to hydrogen

On Monday 1 December, the European Commission published its second list of Projects of Common and Mutual Interest (PCI/PMI) eligible for funding from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF).

Of the 235 cross-border projects submitted, 113 are devoted to electricity, 100 to hydrogen and electrolysers, 17 to carbon transport infrastructures, three to “smart” gas networks, and two to linking Malta and Cyprus to the continental European gas network.
