Council of EU formally adopts EU budget for 2026

Brussels, 24/11/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 24 November, the Council of the European Union formally adopted the EU budget for 2026. Total commitments are set at €192.8 billion and total payments at €190.1 billion. €715.7 million has been kept available as a margin under the expenditure ceilings for commitments under the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF).
