27/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 27 October, the European ministers meeting at the ‘Agriculture and Fisheries’ Council in Luxembourg approved a recommendation from the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union not to reject the European Commission’s delegated act defining ‘low-carbon’ hydrogen (see EUROPE 13677/21). This decision follows an agreement reached by the Permanent Representatives of the Member States to the EU (Coreper) on 22 October (see EUROPE 13736/34). The European Parliament also did not vote to object to the delegated act within the allotted time and the extension granted until 8 November, following the presentation of the act at the beginning of July by the European Commission (see EUROPE 13738/14). This means that the delegated act can enter into force. (PLD)
