27/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 27 October, the European Commission announced that it had allocated €13.8 million to support cross-border journalistic collaboration and media pluralism, as part of the sixth annual call for proposals under the Creative Europe programme. Support for cross-border journalistic collaborations and media partnerships has been allocated €6.9 million, with a maximum of €2 million per two-year project. The remaining €6.9 million is intended to support media pluralism and is aimed at organisations that can act as intermediaries to set up and distribute funding for local and regional media, community media, investigative journalism or media specialising in public interest information.
