European Union and Ukraine extend their road transport agreement until 31 March 2027

On Thursday 25 September, the European Union and Ukraine decided to extend the validity of their current agreement on road transport until 31 March 2027 (see EUROPE B13661A23).

Signed in June 2022 following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the agreement facilitates Ukraine’s access to world markets through smoother transit and strengthens trade links with the European market.
