EU hopes to conclude negotiations on trade agreement with Jakarta on Tuesday 23 September

The European Commissioner for Trade, Maroš Šefčovič, will visit Indonesia on Tuesday 23 September, with the aim of announcing the conclusion of negotiations on the EU/Indonesia trade agreement. Last July, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the Indonesian President, Prabowo Subianto, instructed the negotiators to finalise the negotiations in September (see EUROPE B13680A7).
