European Commission expects more resources for fisheries over 2028-2034 period

On Tuesday 16 September, the European Commission gave details of the proposed funding for fisheries and aquaculture for the period 2028-2034, and believes that the funds will be greater than at present. 

Currently (2021-2027), the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund has around €6.1 billion at its disposal.
