16/09/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 15 September, IFOAM Organics Europe unveiled the second video (https://aeur.eu/f/ig4 ) in its #OrganicDelivers campaign, this time focusing on ‘biodistricts’: territories where farmers, citizens, local authorities and economic stakeholders work together to manage resources sustainably. Following a first documentary on organic plant breeding (see EUROPE 13701/17), this new episode illustrates how organic farming boosts the resilience of rural areas, connects people to sustainable food and creates new economic opportunities. The video was shown at the end of August at the Organic Districts World Congress in Datong (China) and precedes the EU Organic Awards’ ceremony on EU Organic Day, 23 September. One of the prizes will be awarded to the best European ‘biodistrict’. (LC)
