Mathias Tesfaye reiterates at informal ministerial meeting in Herning that vocational training poses competitiveness issue for EU

European education ministers met in Herning (Denmark) on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 September for an informal meeting under the Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU. The aim of the meeting was to improve the appeal and quality of the vocational route in the face of rapid changes in the labour market. At the end of the discussions, the ministers adopted the ‘Herning Declaration’ (see other news).
