EU gives green light to higher advance of payments to European farmers under CAP

In response to liquidity problems currently facing many European farmers, the European Commission decided on Wednesday 30 July to authorise Member States to pay higher advances of Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) funds to farmers.

This measure is designed to provide rapid relief for farms facing particularly difficult economic and climatic conditions.
