Growth estimated at 0.1% in euro area in second quarter of 2025

30/07/2025 (Agence Europe) – Between the first and second quarters of 2025, seasonally adjusted GDP increased by 0.1% in the euro area and by 0.2% in the European Union, according to the preliminary flash estimate published by the EU’s statistical office (Eurostat) on Wednesday 30 July. National GDP growth was strongest in Spain (0.7%), Portugal (0.6%) and Estonia (0.5%). It was moderate in France (0.3%).
