As part of the ‘Horizon Europe 2025’ work programme and the EU-African Union Innovation Agenda (2023-2033) - a strategic pillar of research and innovation (R&I) cooperation between Africa and the European Union - the European Commission launched the third phase of its initiative last May: the Africa Initiative III.
