Around 700 scanners in use or being installed at EU airports will make it possible to increase limits of liquid containers

30/07/2025 (Agence Europe) – Around 700 C3 scanner units are currently in use or being installed in European airports, said the European Commission on Wednesday 30 July. Questioned by Agence Europe following its decision the previous day to authorise them to use these scanners (see EUROPE B13690A14), the institution stated that the airports concerned are located in 21 EU Member States: Austria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy,...
