ACER to decide on new methodology for gate opening and closure on intraday electricity market

30/07/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 29 July, the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) announced that it would decide on 2 January 2026 on the proposal it received from the EU’s electricity transmission system operators on 2 July concerning changes to the methodology governing the start and end of electricity trading on the intraday market.
