European Parliament approves €280 million in aid from EU Solidarity Fund

09/07/25 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 9 July in Strasbourg, the European Parliament approved €280 million in aid from the European Union Solidarity Fund by 643 votes to 13 with 35 abstentions (see EUROPE B13649A12). This aid will benefit several countries, including four EU Member States, affected by devastating floods in 2024.
