June 2025 was third-warmest June globally, according to Copernicus

09/07/2025 (Agence Europe) – June 2025 was the third-warmest June globally, with an average surface air temperature of 16.46°C, the European Commission’s climate change observatory, Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) revealed on Wednesday 9 July. This is 0.47°C higher than the average for June over the period 1991-2020.
