European Commission proposes €280 million in aid for six countries following floods

On Tuesday 27 May, the European Commission adopted a proposal to allocate €280 million from the European Union Solidarity Fund (EUSF) to several countries - Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Moldova - following the floods that hit them in September and October 2024.
