Ursula von der Leyen praises Amman’s role in welcoming Palestinian refugees

On Tuesday, 27 May, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen had a discussion with King Abdullah II of Jordan over the phone. She spoke at length about the situation in Gaza and praised the fact that Jordan has been welcoming Palestinian refugees on its soil for a long time.
