EU and Latin American Energy Organisation sign a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen their cooperation

On Tuesday 27 May, the EU and the Latin American Energy Organisation (OLADE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of energy and granting the EU permanent observer status within OLADE.

The European Commissioner for Energy, Dan Jørgensen, welcomed the fact that this memorandum “will help integrate regional energy efforts and strengthen collaboration between Europe and Latin America and the Caribbean – also crucially at the expert level”.
