Greece and France aided by EU Civil Protection Mechanism after first summer wildfires

03/07/25 (Agence Europe) – Bulgarian firefighters have been working in Halkidiki, Greece, and Romanian firefighters in the south of France, near Perpignan, in recent days as part of the European Civil Protection Mechanism, the European Commission said on Thursday 3 July.
