03/07/2025 (Agence Europe) – The national delegates of the European Council of Young Farmers (CEJA) met on Wednesday 2 July at the organisation’s General Assembly to elect the new presidency for the 2025-2027 term, “giving a strong signal of continuity amid uncertain times”, according to a press release. Young Dutch arable farmer Peter Meedendorp was re-elected for a second term, alongside the same vice-presidents: Latvian Rūdolfs Pulkstenis, Swede Elisabeth Hidén, Austrian Katharina Schobersberger and Italian Matteo Pagliarani. The CEJA Presidency will define its priorities and present them at its first working group meeting in September. (LC)
